History of Seib Farm’s
Since John Seib was a young man, he has always had an affinity for learning about weeds and determining different approaches to eradicate them. John originally began this process years ago with his father growing Dahlias. As John’s knowledge of weeds expanded, he accumulated over 35 years of experience in both chemical and organic ways to remove weeds and improve overall yield with various plants and grasses. With the changes in today's environment and the resistance of certain diseases, weeds, fungus, insects, and nematodes the need for alternative treatment is evident.
Seib farm is a family-owned farm that produces a variety of evergreen trees ranging in size from 6 ft to 12 ft. Seib farm has recently added a soil steaming service as an alternative treatment to sterilize soil in order to eliminate weeds and increase overall yield from plants.
