Soil Steaming Services
Why Steam Your Soil?
Organically sterilizes soil reducing diseases, insects, weeds, and other contaminants
Soil Sterilization helps reduces labor costs
Less hazardous than chemical applications
Steam sterilization increases utilization of plant assets
Reinvigorates potting soil and media
Plant faster! Ready for planting as soon as soil cools down
What Steam Eliminates?
Steam has been shown to eliminate various bacteria, fungus, pathogens, weeds, insects, and nematodes.
Weeds cannot become resistant to heat over time like they do with certain chemical applications. Because weeds do not become resistant to this method, steam eliminates greenhouse weeds.
While methyl bromide and other pesticides and herbicides continue to be phased out, growers need an effective alternative to control diseases, pathogens, nematodes, insects, and weeds.
Organically grown healthy, disease and insect free plants produce higher yields of vegetables and flowers in less time, reaching the market sooner and are in high demand by organic consumers.
